Development

Established in January 2005, the Development Department raises funds in support of the Archdiocese’s numerous programs, with special emphasis this year on Youth Ministry, Mission and Evangelism, and Christian Education, as directed by His Eminence Metropolitan Philip.

At present the two priority fundraising programs are:

-  “Endow Orthodoxy, Leave a Lasting Legacy for Tomorrow” which is a planned giving/ bequest program to encourage all the faithful to remember the church in their wills, trusts and / or estate plans

-  Major gift solicitation for the Christian Education Endowment; Mission and Evangelism Endowment; and the Youth Ministry Endowment (campaign goal is $1.8 million)

The department seeks to increase both the amount of operational and endowed funds raised for approved Archdiocesan programs as well as generate new sources of revenue. We solicit unrestricted and restricted donations.
