  • Was born in Amman-Jordan in June 20, 1958
  • Attended Terra Santa College (Catholic School) in Amman.
  • Attended one school year at Jordan University in Amman in 1976-1977.
  • Came to United States of America as an immigrant in July 1977.
  • Worked with his brothers Mousa (Mike) & Jad in the retail men's clothing business in Dallas, Texas and in Atlanta, Georgia.
  • Gradualed from Georgia State University in 1983.
  • In 1985, went to Jordan and got married to Areej Sahawneh.
  • Hala was born in May 14,1990.
  • Heba was born in July 23, 1994.
  • In 1996, after the Olympic Games moved to Birmingham, Alabama.
  • Attended Birmingham Theological Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity in 2002.
  • Spent one school year at St. Vladimire Seminary in New York 2002-2003 and was assigned to St. Virgin Mary in Younkers, NY.
  • Was oredained as a deacon in March 25, 2003 9 (The Feast of the Annunciation) at St. Mary's Church in Brooklyn by his grace Bishop Antoun
  • Was ordained priest in June 2003 by his grace Bishop Demetri.
  • Trained for a short time by Fr. Paul Costapoulas at The Holy Trinity-Holy Cross Greek Cathedral in Birmingham
  • Planted a mission (Antiochian Orthodox Christioan Mission of Birmingham) in August of 2003.
  • This mission acquired a church building (10,000 Sq. Ft) in August 17, 2006 by the grace of God and the dedication of all church members.
  • The mission is now named Annunciation Antiochian Orthodox Church.
  • His Grace Bishop Antoun, Bishop of Miami and the Southeast dedicated the church buildings on October 15, 2006
