Biography of Fr. Andrew Stephen Damick

The Rev. Fr. Andrew Stephen Damick has served as Pastor of St. Paul Orthodox Church of Emmaus, Pennsylvania, since July 2009. Prior to his appointment, he served as the Assistant Pastor at St. George Orthodox Cathedral in Charleston, West Virginia, as well as also serving on the Communications Staff of the Diocese of Charleston, Oakland and the Mid-Atlantic.

In addition to his pastoral work at St. Paul's, Fr. Andrew is author of Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy (Ancient Faith Publishing/Conciliar Press, 2011) and An Introduction to God (Ancient Faith Publishing, 2014). He also is a founder and serves on the Board of Directors of the Society for Orthodox Christian History in the Americas (SOCHA), as well as being one of the founding administrators of the OrthodoxWiki website, where he authored or made major editorial contributions to more than 250 articles.

Fr. Andrew is the author of the Roads From Emmaus weblog, the Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy podcast, and the Roads From Emmaus podcast (both on Ancient Faith Radio), and he serves as editor-in-chief of the Orthodoxy and Heterodoxy weblog. He additionally serves as a member of the Antiochian Archdiocese's Committee on Liturgics, and was elected in 2013 as President of the Lehigh Valley Orthodox Clergy Brotherhood. He is also a frequent speaker at lectures and retreats both in parishes and in other settings.
