On January 12, The St Vladimir's Seminary Chorale joined us for Vespers and then gave an educational concert.

A talented singing group, the Chorale is making a tour of Florida in January, 2005.

The concert included a history of chant from the Byzantine, Russian, Serbian, and Georgian traditions.

They are giving concerts at ten different Orthodox parishes throughout the state.

Peter Drobac (MDiv/MA 04) directs the Seminary Chorale.  The Chorale, unlike previous SVS traveling choirs is larger and, for the first time, is a mixed group.

The acoustics in the Cathedral make it the "perfect venue".

The Chorale is made up of eleven students currently enrolled at the seminary, both men and women, performing a selection of Eastern Orthodox hymns.
