NAC Library Project

We pray that the information provided is the tool for each Parish to participate in our ministry to our local communities.

An initial list was compiled of 12 highly recommended books which introduce & teach the Orthodox Faith. These 12 books will be donated to a library of the parish’s choice.

A second list was generated in February 2004, allowing for libraries to further their collection if desired.

Here are some ideas to get you started in the process:

 

1. Identify libraries in the neighborhood. Ask the librarians their policies on accepting donated books. Ask if the library will allow a label on the inside cover stating that the book was donated by the Fellowship of the Parish including the Parish address & phone.
2. Prepare a press release announcing the donation for your local newspaper. Include a photo of your Priest & the Fellowship handing the books to the librarian.
