Saint Michael the Archangel

Welcome to the parish page of Saint Michael the Archangel Orthodox Christian Church,
Wichita, Kansas. St. Michael’s is a newly formed congregation of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of
North America. The Archdiocese is part of the
Church of
Antioch which was founded by the Apostles Peter and Paul.

St. Michael’s is the first Western Rite congregation in
Kansas. We are an Orthodox Church, but we do not worship using the Byzantine Rite. Our worship is rooted in the ancient liturgy of the
Western 
Church before the Great Schism which separated the West from the Orthodox Catholic Church of the East.
