Meet Dianne O’Regan, President of the North American Board of the Antiochian Women

She graduated with her Associate of Arts in Political Science from Bellarmine University, and her Bachelor of Arts (Summa Cum Laude) in Political Science with an Emphasis on Russian/Soviet Area Studies from the University of Louisville. She has been employed as a Legal Assistant for 35 years, having worked in the fields of criminal prosecution, criminal defense, and civil and corporate law. Since 1996, she has worked at the law offices of Stites & Harbison, PLLC, in the Creditors Rights & Bankruptcy Service Group.

On the local parish level, she currently sings in the choir, but has also served as a church school teacher, editor of the monthly newsletter, member of the adult Bible Bowl Team, and serving the Antiochian Women in various capacities. On the Diocesan level, she has held the offices of President, Vice President/NAB Project Coordinator, Recording Secretary, Public Relations Coordinator, and Archivist/Historian. She was also honored with the Metropolitan Philip Award for the Diocese of Toledo and the Midwest.

On the NAB level, Dianne has served as Recording Secretary (from 2003-2007 and 2009-2011) and Religious Coordinator
(2007-2009), for which she compiled and edited "Orthodox Women Saints" for the Antiochian Archdiocese website, and a CD-ROM entitled, "Holy Women of the Orthodox Church" in honor of the Antiochian Women's 35th Anniversary. More recently, she served as Vice President/NAB Project Coordinator (from 2012-2015).

In her spare time, Dianne loves to read (with a fondness towards history), and serves on the Board of Directors of the Kentuckiana Shetland Sheepdog Club and the Kentuckiana Cluster of Dog Shows, which puts on the largest five-day dog show in North America. She's also a long-time member of the Louisville Kennel Club, and a recipient of the American Kennel Club's Good Sportsmanship Award.
