Guest speaker Paul Karos led a wonderful Men’s Retreat for us in 2009, “Man of the House”, and is returning again by popular demand! Paul is an Orthodox Christian husband and father of three children residing with his family in the Minneapolis area.

He has had a successful professional career in the financial and airline industries and distinguished himself, in the early nineties, as the number one ranked Wall Street airline analyst in the world for five straight years. He was president of the 12th largest investment banking firm in the nation. His life story was featured on the front page of the New York Times Business section.

Paul is active in lay ministries thru his home parish, St. Mary Greek Orthodox Church in Minneapolis. He is involved in men’s ministry, leading men’s Bible study/discussion groups, as well as individual guidance counseling with assistance from his priests. He also leads Bible studies in prison through the Minnesota Orthodox Prison Ministry. He is a certified counselor for the Prepare/ Enrich Marriage Program, and he and his family are active in Orthodox family camps, both in the Twin Cities and at Antiochian Village. Mr. Karos is pursuing his Masters of Orthodox Theology through the St. Stephens Program.
