DOWAMA Ordinations on Theophany

His Grace Bishop Basil writes:

WORTHY!  Deacon Methodios Ingalls of St. Sophia Church in Dripping Springs, Texas was ordained to the holy priesthood and Subdeacon Gregory Farman of St. Elias Church in Austin, Texas was ordained to the holy diaconate on the great feast of Theophany which I served at St. Elias Church in Austin with all the clergy of the Central Texas Deanery.  Fr. Methodios will soon return to St Tikhon's Seminary in South Canaan, Pennsylvania to complete his final semester of graduate theological studies, while Deacon Gregory has been assigned to St. Elias Church.

Rafael Jeffrey Garcia Ordained to Diaconate

On Sunday, November 14, 2010, His Grace Bishop Thomas ordained Raphael Jeffrey Garcia to the holy diaconate at St. John Chrysostom Church in York, Pennsylvania. Deacon Rafael is assigned to St. Gregory the Great Church in Washington, D.C.

Many years to David Jacobs, Program Director at the Antiochian Village Camp. David is to be ordained to the holy diaconate in Utica, New York, on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010.

Subdeacon Peter Aleria, a chaplain with the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Blissin El Paso, TX, will be ordained to the holy diaconate at the Forty Holy Martyrs in Sugar Land, TX on Sunday, November 7th and to the holy priesthood at St. Michael Church in Beaumont, TX on Monday, November 8th.

Deacon Michael Sakran, a DOWAMA vocation from St. George Church in Houston, TX who will graduate from St. Vladimir's Seminary next May, will be ordained to the holy priesthood at his home parish on Thursday, November 11th.

Subdeacon Michael Fulton, a DOWAMA vocation from St. Joseph Church in Houston, TX and a student at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Brookline, MA, will be ordained to the holy diaconate at St. George Church in Houston, TX on Thursday, November 11th.

Many years also to Raphael Jeffrey Garcia of the Church of St. Gregory the Great in Washington, DC. He will be ordained on Sunday, Nov. 14, by Bishop Thomas at the Church of St. John Chrysostom in York, Pennsylvania.

Subdeacon Richard Zogheb, from St. Nicholas Church in Bridgeport, CT will be ordained to the holy diaconate by His Eminence, Metropolitan Philip at his home parish on Sunday, December 5th, 2010.

Axios! Archpriest Kamal Al-Rahil

On Sunday, October 24, 2010, His Eminence Metropolitan Philip elevated Fr. Kamal Al-Rahil of St. George Church in Jacksonville to the rank of Archpriest.

Dn. Jon Fate Ordained to Priesthood

Deacon Jon Fate was ordained to the Holy Priesthood on Sunday, October 17, 2010, at St. Luke Church in Garden Grove, California by His Grace Bishop Joseph.

Elevation of Fr. Anthony Michaels

Fr. Anthony Michaels was elevated to the rank of Archimandrite by Metropolitan Philip at the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy celebrated at the Consecration of St. John Chrysostom Church on September 19th, 2010. The Rt. Rev. Fr. Anthony Michaels was present to his parish by His Eminence with the proclamation, Axios! Mustahiq! He Is Worthy!

James Kallail Ordained to Diaconate

His Grace Bishop Basil ordained James Kallail to the Holy Diaconate on Sunday, September 5th, 2010. The ordination took place at Dn. James' home parish of St. Mary in Wichita, Kansas.

James Purdie Ordained to the Priesthood

On August 15, 2010, the Feast of the Holy Dormition, His Grace Bishop Thomas ordained Deacon James Purdie to the Holy Priesthood at St. George Cathedral in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Fr. James has been assigned to assist Fr. John Abdalah at the Cathedral.

Michael Damas Ordained to the Diaconate

On July 4, 2010, His Grace Bishop Mark ordained Michael Damas to the Holy Diaconate at St. George Cathedral in Toledo, Ohio.
