The Department of Statistics and Credentials is responsible for collecting and maintaining certain critical data about the missions and parishes of this Archdiocese, and using that data to determine the voting rights, and standing of each community.
Every two years the department will issue a request for census data from each community which results in a record of the number of "baptized souls" that are reported by each mission and parish.
This data is used at the biennial Convention to determine the number of votes that are allotted to each mission and parish. In addition, the department is responsible for determining the presence of a quorum at the General Assembly, and for distributing and validating all voting proxies to every individual who is eligible to vote.
Finally, the department is responsible for conducting and tallying the results of all balloting that might take place at the General Assembly of the biennial Convention.
