Q: How long does the St. Stephen’s Program take?
A: Three years of part-time study for the certificate. Four years for the M.A.

Q: How many hours per week does it take?
A: The successful student devotes regular chunks of time every week to reading, taking notes, and (eventually) writing papers. This amounts to about 5-10 hours a week.

Q: Are the degrees accredited? 
A: The Master of Arts, the Doctor of Ministry, and the Pastoral Care degrees are accredited. The St. Stephen’s certificate is not currently.

Q: Do I have to come to Pennsylvania? 
A: Yes, once a year. The coursework, tests, and directed projects are done through mail correspondence. The residency program in Pennsylvania, for one week each year, must be attended in person.
