We Need Your Input! Take the Sacred Music Library Survey

Are you a choir director or member? Have you thought about joining the choir? Do you enjoy listening to Orthodox Christian music, and would you be willing to share your opinion?

Richard Barrett, the St. John of Damascus Society's Artistic Director, has designed a 2-5 minute survey to gather data about how the music library on Antiochian.org is currently being used, and to ascertain what resources and functionality would be helpful that currently don't exist. Whether you have a degree from a music conservatory, or are strictly an amateur, we are interested in hearing from you!

As one of the most popular destinations on Antiochian.org, the Department of Sacred Music's online library of PDFs includes liturgical music for every month of the year, and is a frequent destination for choir directors, chanters, and church musicians. Plans are underway to refresh and expand the online resources available to musicians in the Antiochian Archdiocese. In May, 2015, His Eminence Metropolitan Joseph appointed Paul Jabara of Montreal, Quebec to be the new Chairman of the Archdiocese's Department of Sacred Music, and he is working closely with the Department of Internet Ministry to improve the music library. With your assistance, we will be able to improve this valuable archive in the coming months. Thanks for your help!
